Terrigal Beach offers pristine sands, clear waters, and is ideal for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing and of course…beach netball! Nearby beaches such as Wamberal Beach and Avoca Beach are also popular among locals and visitors alike.

Terrigal hosts a variety of events and festivals such as The Lakes Festival  (see more)

This popular annual event will be making a splash across the entire Central Coast between 8-17 November 2024.

This huge 10-DAY celebration of our waterways across the Central Coast that brings locals and visitors together to enjoy exciting family-friendly activities, cultural and educational programs hosted by local organisations and businesses.

THE MATCHES

During a game of beach soccer at Terrigal Beach you can expect to see teams of enthusiastic players battling it out amidst the breathtaking coastal scenery. The game is typically played with fewer players on each team compared to regular soccer, adding to the intensity and excitement.

At any Australian Beach Soccer location you can expect a variety of matches for all skill levels.

    • 5-8 players on each team
    • 3 periods of 12 minutes
    • No draws in beach soccer
    • Penalties (5 each – followed by Sudden Death)
    • Win in Normal Time = 3 points
    • Win in Extra Time = 2 points
    • Win on Penalties = 1 point

    Terrigal Beach soccer comes alive with a vibrant music and party atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience for players and spectators alike.

    Along the sandy shores of Terrigal Beach, you can expect to hear upbeat tunes echoing from portable speakers or nearby beachside bars and cafes. DJs may spin lively tracks, adding a rhythmic backdrop to the action on the sand. The music sets the tone for a fun and energetic atmosphere, keeping players motivated and engaging spectators in the excitement of the game.

    Famed for its broad golden sand beach, tranquil lagoon and seaside vibe, Terrigal is a popular spot for swimming, surfing and socialising. Stroll the Norfolk pine-lined Esplanade of this NSW Central Coast town and you’ll find buzzing restaurants, cafes, boutiques, ice cream parlours and rooftop bars.

    Soak up panoramic views from The Skillion lookout, an easy walk southeast from Terrigal Beach to Broken Head. You might even spot humpback whales during their annual migration between May and November. Just off the coast in 32m of water is the Ex-HMAS Adelaide, an old warship scuttled to create an artificial reef that’s popular with divers.
